Ustadh Abdul-Aziz Manneh
Assalamu Alaikum! I'm Brother Abdul Aziz Manneh, the founder and dedicated instructor behind Hifz Academy Online (H.A.O.). A native of The Gambia, my deep passion for the Quran and Islamic sciences led me to pursue extensive studies. I hold a Master's degree in Shariah Law from the Islamic University of Minnesota, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Shariah Law from Al Ihsan University in The Gambia. Furthermore, I've been blessed with an Ijazah in Quranic recitation with Tajweed from the prestigious Dr. Al-Maasrawi Centers for Quranic Studies in Egypt, signifying mastery in its accurate recitation.
My journey in Islamic education includes significant practical experience, having served as a teacher at AhlulSuffa for five years, and subsequently as a principal at Marrkass Fatima for seven years before moving to the United States. I established H.A.O. with a singular vision: to make comprehensive and authentic Quranic education accessible to students worldwide, regardless of their starting point.
I believe that learning the Quran extends beyond mere recitation; it's about understanding its meanings, applying its beautiful teachings in our daily lives, and embodying the noble character it inspires.
